Hi,

I am trying to plot hdf5 files with Kst. On your internet site it says
that "netCDF <http://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/netcdf/> including
metadata" is supported. Do you support netcdf4 or only netcdf3? and how
do i activate the netcdf format? if i build Kst with qmake/cmake it
doesnt build the netcdf directory.

Greetings,

Manuel

Hi, Manuel,

It builds agains netcdf4.

A few quick questions:

-what OS and version are you running?

-is "netCDF Reader" listed under Help->Debug Dialog->Data Sources?

-do you have the netcdf and netcdf_c++ development packages installed?

-Does cmake claim that it found these libraries?

(and now that you brought this up, I see that the ubuntu ppa packages are not
installing the netcdf data source. I will attempt to fix this.)

Hi Barth,

it was just my bad i didn't have the package "libnetcdf-dev" installed.
I am using Ubuntu 14.04, after installing the package everything is
working fine.
