Bug ID: 398025
Summary: kst freezes plotting live data from datasource
"Network Folder" after disconnected network
Product: kst
Version: 2.0.8
Platform: MS Windows
OS: MS Windows
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: NOR
Component: datasources
Assignee: ***@kde.org
Reporter: ***@herrenknecht.de
Target Milestone: ---

Dear kst-team,
1st of all I must say again - kst is a great tool!

Now my issue:
If plotting live data from datasource = network folder e.g.
\\192.168.2.xx\__.csv
everything works fine until network connection is disconnected.
kst freezes and must be restarted to update live plot charts again.

How can this be solved?

kst version = Windows 2.0.8

Best regards
Joerg

Hmmm... Sounds like the OS locks the open file, blocking the failed read
forever.

I think I've had a similar problem with NSF on linux.

Is the GUI fully frozen? If not, "reload all data sources" button on the
toolbar (or File->reload all data sources ) should work. But if the GUI is
fully frozen, then we will need some other approach.
